Joy, Belonging, and the Refusal to Spiral. Saying no to the narrative

In June, my show wrapped with a very fun and exciting run.

Last weekend, I had the privilege of assisting SEI faculty Maureen Gallagher in leading the Beginning Level 2 Somatic Experiencing training.

Last week, I had the privilege of attending the Healing Race Portal in Montgomery, Alabama, as part of the team of Rooted Global Village.

I feel a little sheepish admitting this, but I’m writing to you from the stunning National Park on St. John Island in the US Virgin Islands.

It’s an experience of confusion and disempowerment, leaving me unable to orient.

I turned 49 on New Year’s Eve and my family lovingly asked, "What do you want to do for your birthday?"
